Iran Doostan Tours Co. Pjs. (IDT) was founded in 1990. It started working professionally on inbound tourism in the fields of cultural, adventure, and MICE tours. With more than 27 years of experience in travel industry, it is one of the pioneers of tour operators in Iran. How to apply for an Iran visa?
We are pleased to offer our services for obtaining a maximum 30 days Iran tourist visa which is extendable in Iran.
Visa issuance procedure: We can contribute to the issuance of your visa in coordination with the Visa Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (M.O.F). After you fill in the requested information on the visa form (in two separate attachments for individual &group traveler) we transfer your visa application to M.O.F. This process takes 10 working days after sending the application form to the mentioned department.
Your Visa Authorization as a reference number will be sent simultaneously to you and to the Iran consulate or embassy of the place where you applied for an Iran visa. This Visa authorization is based on your application file at M.O.F, whereupon the Iranian Embassy will issue your visa.
Nevertheless, you have a free-hand in plan & programming your entire travel itinerary. Besides we are able to help you plan your journey with the least amount of restrictions possible and will do our utmost to remain flexible according to your needs.
You better make all of your travel arrangements including accommodation, internal flights, and/or a private car & guide/driver throughout the trip in advance. The maximum duration of a tourist visa is 30 days. However, this is at the discretion of the foreign ministry bureaus around the country to extend your visa. Visas can be collected at any Iranian consulate or Embassy (consulate section) around the world even in the Iranian interest section in Pakistan Embassy in Washington DC. In the US. The visa procedures for American, British, Canadian, and Australian citizens are longer as we need 20-30 working days. Please note, you need to inform us at the time of application, which country you wish to collect your visa.
Iran visa on arrival
A Visa arrangement will be done by the Iran Doostan Tours Company.
Citizens of the many countries can apply for a fifteen-days tourist visa upon their arrival in the administration visa office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs situated in Iran’s Imam Khomeini- Mehr Abad- Mashhad- Shiraz- Tabriz and Isfahan Airports.
Hotel reservation in Iran

IRAN TRANSPORT SERVICES
We provide private vehicles with drivers for our customers during their entire stay in Iran. Our wide selection ranges from simple cars such as Peugeot, Van, Minibus, Bus to dependable Luxury cars such as Mercedes Benz, BMW, Toyota, and much more. Our cars are all fully insured under the rules of the Iranian insurance policy and our drivers are well-experienced and trained chauffeurs.
International Airport
Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA) is located 35 km South-West of Tehran. There are official taxi stands from which all the official airport taxis are dispatched and will charge a fixed rate. Individual taxis may also try to hawk a passenger. It is advisable to avoid such cars, even if they offer lower fares. Access roads to this airport are via Tehran-Qom highway, Tehran-Saveh road, and Tehran-Saveh highway. There is a 20 km long access highway to the passenger terminal between Tehran-Qom and Tehran-Saveh highways. For our tourists who have booked their tour with us, our guide will welcome and transfer them to the hotel by private car.
Domestic flight:
For domestic flights, travelers can book their tickets through agencies. It is presently not possible to book air tickets on-line with the credit cards of Western payment systems.
