Having a strength class of 325 kg/cm2 and due to its chemical properties, this kind of cement is used in general applications and in all places where no special properties of concrete are considered, e.g., preparation of mortars and concrete structures.

Having a strength class of 425 kg/cm2 and due to higher initial and final strength than similar cement, this kind of cement is used in a variety of concrete, reinforced, and unreinforced structures that require relatively early strength, such as columns, roofs, bridge slabs, and heavy and thin precast parts and structures that need fast molding, as well as for concreting in cold weather.

Portland Cement Type 2 is the modified cement that, due to its medium resistance to corrosive environments and having moderate heat of hydration, is used in all general applications and construction of foundations, relatively bulky structures, and environments with medium corrosion degree.

This kind of cement is resistant to sulfate attack. For this, it is used in all places where this property is considered. Portland cement type 2 is generally used when the soil with water that is in contact with the concrete building has a large volume of sulfate salts.
