Hydrated Ethanol with a 96.5% Degree of Purity
This substance is produced through the fermentation of the sugar available in sugarcane and beetroot molasses in an anaerobic environment with controlled temperature and PH by Saccharomyces cerevisiae. During the next stage, this alcoholic molasses fluid is delivered to related distillation columns for the separation of the product and finally is removed from the system with a 96.5% degree and delivered to be used in related industries. The production line of the company, equipped with all necessary equipment and installations, extracts all ethanol impurity from the main product (%96.5 Ethanol). Besides producing medical ethanol as the main product, two other products, industrial ethanol, and fusel oil are also produced.
Product Application:
96.5% Ethanol (Fine Ethanol) can be used in detergents, medicines, fuel supplements, chemical and military industries. In the industrial form, can also be used in paint industries and solvents and also as raw material for other chemical industries such as the production of citric acid and esters.
99.5% Ethanol
This substance results from the purification process of 95%-96.5% ethanol through various methods. One of the methods currently used for dehydrating ethanol is the Molecular Sieve Absorption method with catalyst, in which zeolite is used to separate the water from the ethanol. Zeolite, in general, is a synthetic substance and is similar to aluminate and silicate (Alo4, Sio4) and has a complex crystal structure, and can separate water molecules from the ethanol according to their size.
99.5% Ethanol Application
Today it is mostly used as bio fuel, and has been used since the 1970’s in Brazil and since 1990 in most European and American countries. Other applications include as raw material for producing various pure laboratory chemicals.
